An initiative inspired by one of our very own volunteers, Makmal Kulinari was introduced in 2015 to bring NRC11 closer to the different segments of community in Malaysia. It aspires to cultivate the entrepreneurship spirit for the food industry among the less fortunate segments of society. With this in mind, Makmal Kulinari is carried out throughout the country.
Through this programme, participants are taught to cook food products such as Maruku, frozen roti canai and pastries as well as how to market them. Various segments of the society like the single mothers, PPR residents as well as youngsters who are simply interested in the world of culinary and entrepreneurship benefit from this programme.

Gotong-royong (communal work) is our monthly initiative to bring local communities together. It is more than just cleaning and clearing rubbish, Better Community is touching the lives of the rakyat. In the age of individualism and materialism, Better Community is cultivating community service as a way of life.
Thus far, we are active in engaging local communities from urban to rural folks in battling issues like vandalism, littering, illegal postings and dengue.
